The exploitation of beneficial microbes as a biofertiliser has become paramount importance in agriculture sector for their potential role in food safety and sustainable crop production. The eco-friendly approaches inspire a wide range of application of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agritek.co.nz\/bio-sustain_pgpr\/\">PGPRs<\/a>), mycorrhizal fungi, nitrogen fixing bacteria, solubilising bacteria for phosphate &amp; potassium and many other useful microbial products which led to improved nutrient uptake, plant growth and tolerance. Bio-fertilizers improve functional traits such as plant growth productivity, nutrient balance, plant defense and protection. Bio-fertilisers trigger various growth and defense-related genes which signal a network of cellular pathways resulting in plant defence response and\u00a0<a
